I am just wondering if (not price-wise) the Apple 2nd-gen iPod touch 16Gb model is better or worse than the new 3rd gen iPod touch 8gb. Please help!

My 2nd generation Apple iPod Touch cost me roughly $300.00. How much should I sell it for? I bought it on August 30, 2009. It works perfectly. It has the latest software and iOS, and currently still receives software and iOS updates from iTunes. How much should I sell it for?
