Where do i find songs i transferred from a CD to my Classic Apple Ipod?

i transferred songs onto my classic apple ipod from a CD and i can’t find them on my ipod, i have tried to transfer them again and it says it is already on there….but i still cant find them……..Does anybody know where there went or how to find them?
